Patanjali Herbal Research Division works on documentation, analysis, designing and project executions of different themes in the alignment of aims and scope of Patanjali institutions. Around 150 well trained scientists with different expertise in Botany, Taxonomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc. Work together on several academic research projects related to plant- based medicine, yoga and any such related field towards conducting extensive research for scientific and empirical evidence in support of therapeutic effects of selected areas. Several research and review articles are published in journals of national as well as international repute having a global visibility for Yoga and Ayurveda with supportive and authenticated data. This division aims to develop systematized and validated research work that shall be highly useful for scientists, researchers and industry experts engaged in the work related to research, development and promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Job Profile for Data Scientist

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning and data mining. The Data Scientist will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that leverage the latest technologies and methodologies in data science.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master's/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R or Scala.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast trends and identify patterns in data.
• Evaluate and improve existing models and algorithms for accuracy and performance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualization and presentations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in various libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn etc.
• Experience with machine/deep learning frameworks.
• Previous experience in the business intelligence or analytics industry.
