Drug Discovery and Development Division, Patanjali Research Institute, Haridwar (Patanjali Research Foundation Trust ) has been assessed and accredited by the Institutional Biosafety Committee (Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India). This certification is under the Biosafety Research programme to facilitate the implementation of biosafety procedures, rules and guidelines under Environment (Protection) Act 1986 and Rules 1989 to ensure safety from the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and products thereof in research and application to the users as well as to the environment.
