Patanjali Herbal Research Division works on documentation, analysis, designing and project executions of different themes in the alignment of aims and scope of Patanjali institutions. Around 150 well trained scientists with different expertise in Botany, Taxonomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc. Work together on several academic research projects related to plant- based medicine, yoga and any such related field towards conducting extensive research for scientific and empirical evidence in support of therapeutic effects of selected areas. Several research and review articles are published in journals of national as well as international repute having a global visibility for Yoga and Ayurveda with supportive and authenticated data. This division aims to develop systematized and validated research work that shall be highly useful for scientists, researchers and industry experts engaged in the work related to research, development and promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Job Profile for Plant Anatomist

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Plant Anatomy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of plant anatomy, morphology, and physiology. The role involves conducting research, analyzing plant structures and providing insights to improve plant health and productivity.

Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s or PhD in Botany, Plant Biology or related field with a focus on plant anatomy.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Strong background in microscopy techniques and plant tissue preparation.
  • Experience in conducting research and analyzing data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of plant physiology and biochemistry is desirable.
  • Prior experience in plant anatomy research or related fields is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Conduct microscopic analysis of plant tissues to understand their structure and function.
  • Study plant development and growth patterns.
  • Investigate the effects of environmental factors on plant anatomy.
  • Identify and classify plant species based on anatomical characteristics.
  • Collaborate with other scientists and researchers to develop new insights into plant biology.
  • Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and technologies in plant anatomy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialization or coursework in plant anatomy.
  • Knowledge of plant development and morphology.
  • Experience with plant anatomy research methodologies and tools.
