Patanjali Herbal Research Division works on documentation, analysis, designing and project executions of different themes in the alignment of aims and scope of Patanjali institutions. Around 150 well trained scientists with different expertise in Botany, Taxonomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc. Work together on several academic research projects related to plant- based medicine, yoga and any such related field towards conducting extensive research for scientific and empirical evidence in support of therapeutic effects of selected areas. Several research and review articles are published in journals of national as well as international repute having a global visibility for Yoga and Ayurveda with supportive and authenticated data. This division aims to develop systematized and validated research work that shall be highly useful for scientists, researchers and industry experts engaged in the work related to research, development and promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Job Profile for Language Translator

The Language Translator is responsible for ensuring the high-quality standards of linguistic and editorial aspects in assigned content. Working closely with managers and supervisors, they translate, language edit, and perform quality checks on books or articles. Their attention to detail, passion for excellence, and ability to handle challenging tasks with maturity and calmness are key traits. They work independently, troubleshoot fast-paced or difficult articles, and maintain effective communication with managers. The Language Editor plays a crucial role in maintaining editorial quality and meeting organizational standards.

Qualification & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Hindi or Sanskrit along with proficiency in English to Hindi Translation.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Hindi and English.
• Atleast 2-3 year’s experience as language editor in reputed organization or entity.
• Proven skill sets as demonstrated by production of journals /reports/articles.
• Proficiency in MS-Office with good typing speed.

Key Responsibilities:

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Translate and type English content into Hindi without breaking the context.
• Quality check-spot errors and correct them, notify the same to the team.
• Interact with content experts on a regular basis to understand the ongoing changes.
• Evaluates complexity of source project. Feeds information to Manager to negotiate rates and schedule based on the project complexity.
• Understand escalation matrix.
• Keeps Manager informed on the progress/issues in a timely manner and through daily and weekly reports.
• Manages own productivity and occupancy as per task-list/productivity objectives.
• Maintains own daily tracker as advised. Makes files available on server for ease of accessibility.
• Discipline in file/folder management.

• Participate in projects, committees or tasks forces as assigned by departmental supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities:

This includes but not limited to the following:

• Generally aware of best practices and business/industry trends in writing/translation.
• Participate in VC/audio calls along with your manager and record the minutes as required.
